A native New Yorker, Mr. Spira-Bauer headed west to Los Angeles in 2003 after earning his BFA at Syracuse University to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Having taken on many positions initially in the reality television sector from story producing to casting, he found an opportunity through the relationships he developed to apply his skills in the feature documentary world at Moriah Films, the Oscar winning film division of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Having finishing his fourth film as associate producer and production supervisor for Moriah, he is currently working on the second part of their newest feature, The Prime Ministers. Aside from his work with Moriah, Mr. Spira-Bauer is a co-founder of his production company, 4th Wall Productions, produces independent theatre, and also employs his skills as a photographer.
