Tim Boland – Sound Design

Born and raised in a small Jewish community in Dublin, Ireland, Tim followed in the footsteps of the other musicians in his family: his father and three older brothers. As a kid he played in many bands, winning a Coca Cola National Band Search. Tim moved on to become a recording engineer and record producer for many diverse artists including Earth Wind & Fire, Ozzy Osbourne, UB40, Soul Coughing and The Young Dubliners.

Tim moved to Los Angeles in 1994 to pursue a career in composing for film and television, and through his company Echo Park Music & Sound created musical scores many films including box office hit “Stomp The Yard”, and commercials for Boeing, Google, Microsoft and Coca Cola to name a few. He joined Moriah Films in 2010, contributing sound design and music editing for the films “It Is No Dream” and “The Prime Ministers: The Pioneers.” He lives in Silverlake with his wife and four year old daughter.
